Add extra formatting/sorting to any text editor (e.g. Notepad, Word, Visual Studio, etc).

Functions

Add to lines
These first four functions skip over any leading or trailing spaces/tabs.

• Append text
  Add text to the end of each line.
• Prepend text
  Add text to the start of each line.

• Append number
  Add an incrementing number to the end of each line.
• Prepend number
  Add an incrementing number to the start of each line.

• Line spacing
  Separate each line.

Sort lines
These first four functions ignore any leading or trailing spaces/tabs.

• Text ascending
  Sort lines in an ascending alphabetical order.
• Text descending
  Sort lines in a descending alphabetical order.
• Numeric ascending
  Sort lines in an ascending order (based on any numbers at the start of each line).
• Numeric descending
  Sort lines in a decending order (based on any numbers at the start of each line).
• Reverse
  Reverse the order of the selected lines.
• Shuffle
  Randomise the order of the selected lines.

Remove

• Blank lines
  Remove any empty lines (including lines that only contain spaces/tabs).

These two functions skip over any leading/trailing spaces/tabs.

• Leading characters
  Remove characters from the start of each line.
• Trailing characters
  Remove characters from the end of each line.

• Duplicate lines
  Remove any repeated lines.
• Leading spaces
  Trim any spaces/tabs from the start of each line.
• Trailing spaces
  Trim any spaces/tabs from the end of each line.
• Lines starting with
  Remove any lines that start with the specified text.

• Lines ending with
  Remove any lines that end with the specified text.

Change case

• Upper
  Change the casing to upper case. (From "upper case" to "UPPER CASE").
• Lower
  Change the casing to lower case. (From "LOWER CASE" to "lower case").
• Title
  Change the casing to title case. (From "title case" to "Title Case").
• Sentence
  Change the casing to sentence case. (From "sentence case" to "Sentence case").
• Invert
  Change upper case to lower case and vise versa. (From "Invert Case" to "iNVERT cASE").

These four functions only work if your PC is setup to use Japanese characters.
By default, they are hidden. They can be made visible using the Options screen.

• Katakana (カタカナ)
  Convert Hiragana into Katakana.
• Hiragana (ひらがな)
  Convert Katakana into Hiragana.
• Halfwidth (半角)
  Convert Fullwidth into Halfwidth.
• Fullwidth (全角)
  Convert Halfwidth into Fullwidth.

Align
These alignment functions only work properly with mono-spaced fonts.

• Left
  Remove all spaces from the left of each line so that they all line up on the left side.
• Center
  Add padding to the left side of each line so that they are centered.
• Right
  Add padding to the left of each line so that they all line up on the right side.

Clean

• Convert to plain text
  Remove any hidden formatting added by Outlook, Word, etc.
• Remove HTML tags
  Delete any text contained inside '<' and '/>'.
• Remove BBCode tags
  Delete any text contained inside '[' and '/]'.

Other

• Repeat text
  Repeat the selected text multiple times.

• Word count
  Displays how many words, lines and characters are selected.

• Get file names
  Copies the file names of files selected in Windows Explorer into the clipboard.
• Join up lines
  Converts separate lines into one paragraph.

• Separate sentences
  Splits up paragraphs in to separate sentences.
